Painting our new home

This is a sight better than when I found the space let me tell you. This was after about 5 hours of sweeping and cleaning. There was inch thick red dust in all the holes in the concrete after that big red dust storm we had in 2009.

Despite its initial appearance I could visualise what you see today.

And the painting begun and went on…and on… until the day before we opened our doors on November 2nd 2010.

Mum and dad and Christie and Mike helped us getting a huge chunk of it done on the first weekend.
