Join us for the One Month Pilates Challenge - it’s the perfect way to flush out the toxins, renew a sluggish digestive system and get energized and toned. To help you meet your health goals (whether they be committing to a healthier diet, having a greater sense of well-being or getting that bikini body) MG Pilates has put together a program to support you. More details below.
Introductory Session: Date to be confirmed. This is when we’ll get you started, give you your diet plan and take some measurements so you can have a clear indication of the impact of all your hard work over the course of the Challenge.
Return: Vitality, well-being, core strength & muscle tone
Reward: Attend every Challenge class and get 5 complementary mat classes!
Pilates: You’ll attend 4 Pilates Mat Classes a week, starting at a beginner level and working up to more challenging classes. By the end of the month you should see a massive difference in your core strength, you will have toned your muscles – in your arms, legs and bum and be feeling stronger and leaner. The Pilates classes are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 6:30am and on Saturdays at 7:30am. Each class is 1 hour.
Detox: As a complement to the Pilates Classes we have created a cleansing program. We will give you a day by day diet plan and shopping list that you can follow strictly or modify to suit your preferences. No supplements this time round – we are focusing on diet for a gentler detox. The stricter you are with the diet, the better your results will be. The cleanse cuts out foods that do more harm than good and focuses on easily digestible, fresh (preferably organic) foods that will give your system an opportunity to cleanse itself of accumulated toxins and their associated side effects. Commit to it for a month and feel the benefits of healthier eating habits – weight loss, improved digestion, clearer skin and more energy!
Don’t be daunted. This is a detox that will prove to you that detoxing doesn’t have to be hard or unpleasant. You’ll also have the support of the MG team and your fellow Challengers to keep you motivated.

What past Challengers have to say…
“I’ve done the One Month Pilates Challenge several times now and see positive results every time I complete it. The classes begin with the basics (a great refresher for those already familiar with mat classes), and gradually build up to more difficult exercises. The Pilates challenge is perfect for building strength and toning muscles, and just feeling good in general. This is also complimented by the detox. The challenge is definitely worth it!” – Amanda Lansdowne
“I’ve recently completed my second ‘Pilates Only’ Challenge with MG Pilates and I can’t wait for the third! I love the back to basics in week one which is very effective, and just when you think nothing much is happening you reach week four and out comes the magic circle. It’s then that the realisation kicks in that you’ve got seriously stronger as you attempt things that were strictly not happening in week one. It changes the way you use and think about your body. I’m sitting up straighter and using those abs I once declared missing in action. Carrie has a great energy as a teacher and makes those 6.30am starts bearable!” – Wendy Mather
“I really loved the pace that each class started at, then as the Challenge went on the increase to the intermediate level. The music was great. I felt much more energised at the end of the Challenge which was my aim. Carrie was fantastic and really focused on each individual person as well as pushing you to make sure you got the most out of the Challenge.” – Pippa Harrison
“Had a great time with the classes, the graduation from easy to harder was great. The diet was easy to follow. While I didn’t follow many recipes I took the list of allowed food and went with that. It was surprisingly easy to do.” – Nichola Jephcott
“I signed up very spontaneously a few days before it started but got really into it right away and felt the benefits after only a few days. The classes were really excellent and the teachers were supportive and encouraging (“Looking good guys!)” even so early in the morning which I thought was amazing. It did take me a few weeks to adjust to the early starts but the fact that the classes moved quickly to new levels of challenge meant that I was super motivated to make it every morning. It was my first time at MG Pilates and I thought the space had a great feeling and was well set up, all the details – glasses of water and hand sanitizer for example really showed thoughtfulness and care.
I felt a significant difference in my posture after only 2 classes, as I work in front of a computer all day I noticed I’ve been slouching a lot less as I can now sit up straight almost effortlessly. Also even today at work I was showing a friend of mine how my skirt which I only bought a few months ago now hangs down on my hips because my waist has toned up. She said and I quote “you should stick with it, you can really see the difference”.
Unfortunately I had already scheduled 2 weekends away during the challenge so I had to miss a couple of days, I really appreciated the option of making up one or two of those classes and it was a great way of discovering the Wednesday night beginners class to refine my technique. It made the whole thing feel very supported and there was a general good vibe of mutual encouragement amongst the students. Thanks so much!” – Holly Williams
“The Challenge came at a perfect time for me. After the Winter hibernation and the food and drink that comes with it I found this a great reset button coming into Summer. I loved the music, it made the intensity a tad easier. Thanks guys I feel so much better. Carrie was a great motivator for us all! See you at the next Challenge.” – Katie Vesper
“This is the second Challenge I’ve completed. The first was great, but I think the second was excellent. Loved incorporating the music! The build up in intensity was well paced and well thought out. Carrie was fantastic. Thanks again.” – James Vesper
“The kick start I needed to get back to a better diet and exercise regime.” – Michelle Forwood
