At MG Pilates our philosophy is to teach the client safely and effectively where you are under constant supervision. We take a maximum of three clients per one instructor per one hour session so we can provide specific instruction for the individual.

You will begin with a one hour initial consultation so we can fully assess your body’s needs and provide you with the basic Pilates technique. From here we then find a mutually appropriate time to commence a regular private or semi private session depending on your needs.
A studio session is a workout utilising the traditional Pilates equipment, the cadillac, reformer, wunda chair, barrel, spine corrector, smaller apparatus and mat work. It is a full body workout using springs for resistance. Its a lovely flowing workout with the intensity gradually increasing as you become stronger. As your flexibility and co-ordination improve you begin to move into exercises encompassing full body integration, this is the juicy stuff that keeps you coming back for more! The sense of achievement is high as you start to look back at where you came from when you walked through the doors to now. This is of course all while hanging from the trap table upside down! Bet you didn’t think you could do that? Of course, if this is not your style we can still help you.
All our instructors are qualified to teach any level from rehab to advanced. A Pilates workout on any level is fully satisfying and leaves you feeling lighter, taller and stronger!
We recommend 2-3 sessions per week for the best results. However one is definitely not a waste of time. If it comes down to budget you could supplement your studio sessions with mat classes providing you are not pregnant or have specific injuries.
